THE REAL STORY The 21st and final incarnation of began under strange circumstances in New Haven, CT with the mysterious arrival of a child. After being sold on the black market, ended up in Israel, taken in by a small orthodox community in Jerusalem. From there, was traded for a camel and a blind ox to silk road merchants. They cared for the child until he wandered away and was lost somewhere in Northern India. Found by yaksmen, was brought to the local Tibetan monastery where he was raised in strict tradition until the age of 12. After being exposed to rock and roll from recordings left behind by a group of American hippies traveling east, realized his calling. Alone and on foot, headed across the Himilayas and through Europe, finally stowing away on a Spanish merchant ship. Arriving in New Orleans, joined a band of blues-playing gypsies, roving continuously until the age of 18. By now, had reached Los Angeles where he stayed to mingle among the stars and start a band. After completing a record under an assumed name, which reached Top 10 chart positions worldwide, abandoned this project due to internal conflicts and contract disputes. Embarking on a solo career, hitched a ride east to New Mexico. Continuing the journey on foot, tired and lost in the desert, encountered a long lost tribe of unknown origin. As was initiated through some sacred ritual he had an out-of-body experience in which the Great Spirit revealed that was to be the icon for the 21st century.
